  1. Quite astounding isn’t it? But, then drugs have been with us for thousands of years so it’s not really a huge surprise, we’ve been smoking, snorting, quaffing, chewing, and rubbing in potent natural products for millennia all with the aim of medicating our lives in one way or another. Given that other apes self-medicate with physiologically active plant species it’s likely that our prehistoric ancestors did the same.
